JOY

PSALM 59: 16-17

Thank LORD for your word and encouragement!

16 But I will sing of your strength,
in the morning I will sing of your love;
for you are my fortress,
my refuge in times of trouble.

17 O my Strength, I sing praise to you;
you, O God, are my fortress, my loving God.

KL Lantern Festival 2009, Central Market, Kuala Lumpur

Dear READER!

YUP!
We were in KL Lantern Festival 2009 held by the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia and was lunched by our 5th Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak by cut an 80kg cake in the form of the 1Malaysia logo. And it was marked by a giant lantern 10ft high in the form of the 1Malaysia logo lit by Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen, accompanied by drum beats representing the various races.

We was not wasted by joining the celebration also ... to those who arrive in the event location; were given a bag full of goodies like PAPER Lantern, Bamboo Stick (to hold the LANTERN), CANDLE (Light up the LANTERN), matches stick (Light up the CANDLE), Mineral Water, Energy Drink, and a MOONCAKE (complete the LANTERN FESTIVAL CELEBRATION).

We were there less than an hour and later adjourn to Bukit Saga (Little GENTING) for supper!!!!

Cheers,
Alex Tan WEE YONG

Funny thing happen in Malaysia Check-point (Custom)

Dear All,

Just a reminder to those who enjoyz going to Singapore to Shop ...
REMEMBER TO TEAR OFF ALL YOUR LABEL/PRICE before LEAVING SINGAPORE!

WHY? This was what happen to me recently to my trip from Singapore back to Kuala Lumpur via ISKANDAR CHECK-POINT!
I was told by the officer that whatever things we buy regardless CLOTH or FOOD or ELECTRONIC GOODS .. we will be tax after conversion back to MALAYSIA RIGGIT (RM) multiply by 30%!!!!!

Imagine we buy 1 piece of shirt that will ost you SGD$ 10, means you be tax by Malaysia Custom 30% after conversion. sould be around (SGD$ 10 x 2.4) x 30% = RM31.20 (you have to pay to Malaysia Government or Custom Duty of RM7.20) ...

The officer told me that unless I stayed inside there more than 72 hour, then I'm be given to buy 3 piece of cloth without been tax in Malaysia! I have been going there so frequent and this is the first time I got tax for it ......

Of cause I'm not interested o fightnot argue with them ... I just simply ask for the payment counter to proceed with the payment and get away from there ...

So fellow Malaysian .. please be smart the next time you go to Singapore to shop!
Have fun doing your shopping in Singapore .... You pay what you get .. unlike in KL ..
HAIH!!!

cheers,
Alexi Binks

4ft August year 2009 ::::::::: 1235 hour

Hello Everybody!

Time passes pretty fast ... I'm actually married for 16 days already!
Thank GOD nothing really happen yet ....

Life is still usually busy with work, house and everything!
For sure 1 thing remain the same .... GOD is still the same old GOD, always taking good care on me..

Wanna share some versus found in Exodus 14: 10-31; says about (especially in Exodus 14:13-14)

13 Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still."

What should be worry? The LORD will fight the war on-behalf of ourselves ...

Thus, we should seek him no matter what happen us ...

SEEK THE LORD ALWAYS ..
